Not photography alone.

Every commission is treated as a project. Photography is one part of a process that begins months in advance and ends in a physical object made to last.

Five phases. Five decisions. One authorship.

    The first conversation

    Before any commitment, we talk. In person or over video. To understand the wedding as a project: the place, its rhythms, what deserves to be remembered and what does not. Without that conversation, there is no commission.

  2. II

    Full coverage

    The wedding day and, when the project calls for it, the days before. Preparations, ceremony, reception, the party. Enough time to build a story, not merely record one.

  3. III

    The authored edit

    A curated selection. Not everything the camera took — everything that deserves to be seen. A story you can read from beginning to end without skipping a frame.

  4. IV

    The analog album

    A physical piece, bound by hand, designed as a singular object. Paper, binding and sequence chosen for that particular wedding. Made to outlive the screen.

  5. V

    Fine art prints

    A selection of images printed on cotton paper, ready to frame. Because a photograph lives better on a wall than inside a phone.

Ten commissions a year. By invitation.
